Happy Sunday guys! Hope you are having a lovely weekend and enjoying this sunshine. I’ve been down in London this past week and it’s been so muggy and not half as much sunshine as Manchester. London always makes me think of work and being more business like, but as soon as I step off the train in Manchester I just seem to relax and the stresses I’ve felt go away. After a full week down there I was so ready to be back up north to see my boys and climb into my own bed, nothing beats sleeping in your own bed.

I’ve mentioned before how me and Joe are exploring Manchester since moving back and we decided to explore more of Beech Road in Chorlton where we took these outfit shots. I’m going to do a monthly update of places we have eaten and visited so I’ll leave that for another time. But today I wanted to talk about how much I’m loving linen and how easy I find to wear this fabric in the summer. It is just perfect for all the sunshine we have been having recently.

I picked up this top after being inspired by Pinterest images of people like Emma Hill & Lindsay Holland wearing these buttoned blouses. Zara seems to have nailed this blouse perfectly and here it was so easy to style with some vintage jeans and my trusty pink velvet mules. This look is one I can turn to for a relaxed day wondering around exploring the city.

With a holiday around the corner, I’ve picked out some other pieces that have caught my eye for summer. I’m really feeling for the striped jumpsuit, paired with a massive straw hat for a wine and cheese night in Bordeaux.
