Hello guys and happy Sunday! Hope you have had a fabulous week and an even better weekend. I am having a very chilled weekend, spending time with my pup pup and Joe. Definitely need some R&R after the two weeks of fun I've had. Straight after Glastonbury me, Joe and a couple of our friends went to Ibiza for a week of sunshine. It was more of a chilled holiday than our usual Ibiza trips and we spent most of it just eating nice food and drinking mojitos. I'm doing a blog post about all the amazing places we ate and drank coming soon, so please check back next week if you are heading to the white isle this year. Anyway, let's get into this outfit post and how much I am loving ra ra skirts!
Just over a month ago I saw a gorgeous photo of Sara Escudero from blog Collage Vintage dancing around in a tiered pleated ra ra skirt and I instantly thought that skirt would be perfect for my holiday! I was expecting to click through and find it out it was very expensive but I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a high street piece and from a store that I absolutely love - H&M. Luckily it was still in stock so I bought it straight away with this one shoulder ruffle top, which I thought would be great a piece to sit against the pastel yellow. I have been on a little bit of a spending spree at the moment and also purchased these pink velvet slip on mules which are a lovely version of the Mui Mui ones finishing off this pastel inspired look.
I really enjoy putting together outfits for a holiday as it gives me the chance to experiment and be more girly with my looks. Since finding this ra ra skirt I have seen so many other bloggers wearing this kind of skirt around. I have to say it's one of the easiest summer pieces to wear. I have found a couple of pieces I have bought so far to be really versatile and in this hot weather they have proved to be a great item to wear for work! But what I love most about this whole look, is that one blogger inspired another blogger meaning even if you might think your images are falling on deaf ears, they aren't. Sometimes it takes one good image to sell an item and I was hook, line and sinker.
Who has inspired you recently to make an impulse purchase?
P.S. loving the Spanish light at dusk!
