Hello guys and welcome back. I’ve had the best week working from home. As I’ve mentioned before I’m travelling a lot with my job, so any weeks I am able to spend at home are cherished. I just find eating healthy, working out is way easier when you aren’t travelling and staying in hotels or with friends. I am such a sucker for a routine! The added bonus is that I’ve got to spend a full week with my little babe Bernard. He is squeeky clean after having a soapy bath and now his coat is super soft when I cuddle him now.
As well as spending as much time as possible this week with Bernard. I have decided to really challenge myself and start Crossfit. To be honest I was getting a little bored of my gym routine and not seeing the results I was after so decided to mix things up and start Crossfit. So far so good, it’s been good to see how far I can push myself in training and try new things like Olympic weightlifting that I would have never have done in a normal gym. I’d find myself being too nervous in a normal gym to try the squat rack, too many bodybuilding men making weird noises. Anyway I’m finding Crossfit loads of fun and it takes my mind off of any stresses I have with work, which is perfect.
Anyway enough of my day to day, I’ve decided to try something new in the way of fashion. I have been a massive fan of anything shiny and actual loved seeing splashed across the catwalk in a tasteful manor. Granted the past couple of seasons I’ve shied away from anything shiny as mainly because a) I didn’t want a trashy version and b) Look like I’m out in fancy dress.. Until I found this stunning shimmery two pieces, which gave me the Studio 54 vibes.
You guys know I am a sucker for a two piece, I bought one a couple of months from Topshop which kind of covered the whole rainbow trend but in my own way. When I saw this set I knew straight away this would be perfect for British wedding or a formal occasion. Sometimes I think it’s nice to mix things up and wear a trouser co-ord as I don’t always feel that comfortable in a dress and massive heels. Trousers are sometimes the better option. I know this look might be a bit out there for so people so I’ve put another shimmery looks that is perfect for occasion wear this summer.
