PRETTY LITTLE THING CO-ORD

The weekend before Christmas I went back up north to visit old friends in Manchester. I absolutely love being back in this city having lived here for nearly 8 years! Even more so at Christmas time with the markets outside the town hall and the Teepee in Castlefield, the whole city feels so festive and in the mood for Christmas. I basically spent the whole time eating and drinking, and now I am feeling the effects of over indulging a little too much! One of favourite days/nights was on the Monday after I had had a crazy weekend catching up with people, a few of us curled up on the sofa and watched Christmas films all day long. On top of that we had some amazing red wine and a selected of cheeses. Believe me I was in heaven and fully in Christmas mode at that point. The food at Christmas time is now my favourite part and this year I know I have fully gone out and eaten my way through this holiday.

Anyway back to this outfit, these photos where taken before my Christmas binge eating started. I am still obsessed with co-ord's and crop tops so when I saw this on Pretty Little Thing I had to buy it. This was the first time ordering from them and I wasn't disappointed at all, the quality of the fabric is amazing and I loved the fit of both the items. Plus the colour goes well with my purple hair! Here I have teamed the co-ord with my snake print heels, some simple silver necklaces and my grey coat from Primark. Let me know your thoughts on the outfit.

CHRISTMAS SALES WISHLIST

Whilst I love Christmas dinner and seeing the family on Christmas Day; my favourite day of the holidays is Boxing Day! For me it is the day for chilling out, eating buffet food and left overs from Christmas Day, chilling out in front of the telly and online shopping for some good deals. Here I have picked out some items I have seen in the Christmas sales. Sales are the best time to check out stores you wouldn't normally consider as they would be out of your shopping budget and the stores you always love have super deals. One store I check out is Whistles as they always have timeless designs, so when the sales comes around check out their website. Here I have picked out this reversible cosy coat and the loafer boots which are perfect as they could go with any outfit and are great for when festival season comes around. For now you could team they with this leopard dress by Cameo or for a dressed down look this knitwear jumper from French Connection and silver metallic a-line skirt.

One of my favourite online stores to look for amazing sales deals is ASOS and at the moment I am in love with their WHITE boutique range. There was lots of choice but the two items I picked out would fit perfectly into mininalist wardobe. This pocket detail jumpsuit would be great for the working wardobe or you could wear it for a casual look with these suede Nike air force ones and then with this ASOS WHITE camo fur coat. To finish any of these outfits off, add this gorgeous leopard print Givenchy clutch which I think is a good deal in the sale with nearly £100 off. Two other good designer deals I found online were the Alexander McQueen spike bracelet and the Givenchy studded bracelet, I love both of these bracelets and with so much money off I think it would be a good investment. One thing I always like to check out in the sales is the Selfridges beauty section and see what make-up they have on sale. I love to carry dark reds well into January and this gorgeous deep berry colour from Guerlain is beautiful. I also found this eyeshadow palette from Sisley, the colours are great for a subtle smokey eye look and if you only buy one thing in the sales I would recommend any sales beauty items. Let me know your thoughts on this wish list and any amazing sales items you have purchased!

This past week my life has gone from zero to hundred with regards to my freelance work. I have been freelance for two months and the work has been very hit and miss at times, but this week I have confirmed some very exciting projects I cannot wait to start working on! Anyway back to this outfit, I love it when you walk into a store and see something that you instantly know what you would pair it with in your wradrobe and I had that thought with this knitted jumper from Topshop. Actually this jumper could go with any pair of jeans and boots but here I have paired it with my patent leather skirt also from Topshop from a couple of years ago. The boots I have on are a birthday present from my brother, I love these seventies style boots that Zara have because they are timeless and can be worn years to come. Let me know your thoughts on the outfit.

PLAYLIST #7

Happy Friday, or as we call it back home Mad Friday where everyone will be out tonight getting merry on the last Friday before Christmas.

I have neglected this kind of post for a couple of weeks due to being so busy with work but now I will be back with my Friday playlist to get you partying for the weekend ahead. So here as usual I have picked out my top 7 songs I have been listening to this week. A couple of new ones that people might not have heard of and some classics I instantly love once I've heard them again. And can we talk about how much Bieber has taken over the charts and radio stations with his new album. If you weren't Belieber before you will be now! Please let me know if you like the playlist below in the comments!
